A lot of dwellings are located on the road to the south so approach from the north as the locals call it the high road. Presently Galway Co Co are constructing a tribute to Alcock and Brown on this road which can be seen for miles. Access to the hill is via the farm gate located at B (L64546 48490) parking adjacent you now have gated access to the summit area with no need to cross fences. Take some time to visit the The Marconi Station located at the junction of this road and the R341. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/5021/comment/19597/
