Between Gearhane and the summit of Caherconree are two rock features known as Finn Mac Cool's Table and Finn Mac Cool's Chair.   Gearhane is the 49th highest place in Ireland.

Just a picture of Gearhane from Caherconree to the south. My next visit here will use Derrymore Glen for approach and return, looping up to Gearhane after reaching the lake, round to Baurtregaum via Caherconree and then back down to the Glen for an easy return.
