According to An Seabhac this peak is named after Loch na Réidhchoilleach (Lough Rehill), which is at its foot. The anglicised form Foilclogh is misleading, as it suggests the second element is cloch, 'stone'. Foilalough would have been more faithful to the original Irish name.
Foilclogh is the 575th highest place in Ireland. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/466/
