Walked from Kilmacanogue on 7th Jan 2006 - was quite a cold day with a very gentle brushing of snowflakes on summit !, but very little wind. Had gained very good direction to the car park from an old walking world Ireland magazine, but was disapointed that it was blocked with large boulders - not sure reason for this.

Had to pass several young people on scramber's making noise around the car park area, they seem to be insistant in makiing the lower green areas a mud hole.

The view from summit was excellent - a great span of the east coast on one side - and the rest of the wicklow range on the other.

Well done to my daughter Andi ( 5 year's old ) making the climb and demanding on the summit approach not to be helped in any way ! Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/455/comment/2132/
