Short Summary created by simon3  10 Apr 2023
Longish but relatively easy trek Text: Turn off the N59 at Bunnahowna Bridge (857 965 starA) and continue up narrow road for 500m until you reach a gate, which is part of an official Greenway walking trail. Go through gate and continue for about 500m, where the trail branches to the left, but also deteriorates in quality – it is driveable only with caution. Eventually this track peters out but there is room to park and turn at the end. From this point continue directly north up the gently rising eastern side of Glennamaddoo valley for 3 km. The ground is generally firm in dry weather – a mixture of long grasses and heather and shouldn’t present too many obstacles. At point 865 008 starB swing NW for 500m, which will take you to the small pile of stones that marks the summit, set amid an area of peat hags.
