Note that this peak is higher than Claggan Mountain itself. Previously Anaffrin in MV. Claggan Mountain (383m) is named Knocknatintree on William Bald's map of Co. Mayo (1830). Claggan Mountain NE Top, however, is unnamed on Bald's map.
