First stop on a circular walk
Short Summary created by Colin Murphy  25 Nov 2013
Approach from SW. Park at G 896 885 A, beside and abandoned cottage, where there is room for a couple of cars. Climb over fence and proceed north up a gently rising slope turning NE at point G898 890after a few hundred metres where the slope become increasingly steeper. Continue in this direction for approx 2 km to reach the summit, which is pretty well defined, but unmarked except for a couple of rocks in a grassy mound. One hour thirty minutes to summit in good conditions. The top can form part of a circular walk also taking in Lavagh More, Lavagh Beg and Silver Hill.
