From sea to Summit

The not-so-poor relation

Anywhere else this would probably be described as a very decent summit, but its broad-topped nature is in contrast to the craggy, sharply defined Lugmore summits to the SE and the dramatic curve up to the spectacular Mweelrea to the SW, and so it seems a bit humdrum by comparison. Still, it's a good summit in its own right, with a carpet of stones and boulders spread over its broad top. Pic shows the gently rising slope from the col to the NW of Ben Lugmore West Top.
