View from the North

I recently posted a photo outlining a route up Knocklaur. From the angle it was taken, it doesn't portray the immense bulk and dramatic profile of this northern spur. This one gives a better impression. Taken from around L928 648 A while descending from Devilsmother North Top. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/414/comment/6686/

The knobbly power of the north spur of Knocklaur can be seen from the road at around L921686 B.
There are tracks up its E side such (See Track 1267) however climbing the northern ridge would probably be more mountaineering rather than hillwalking. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/414/comment/14711/
