Climbed Ard Erin with a friend, ascent gradient on the road through Glendine was gradual posing a slight challenge. The climb to the summit was boggy mainly due to recent heavy rains, and it was not easy. The view from the top is spectacular,we counted 12 counties at least. Some ten years ago when on this fine mountain I counted 17 from the curlews down to the O'Connor pass! No wonder Na Fianna were located there it is so central you can see half of Ireland! Hard to beat the view. Trackback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/399/comment/3927/
