When setting myself the challenge of tackling all of Ireland's county high points, naturally the one to start with was Moylussa in my own beloved county Clare. Parking in Ballycuggaran Forest car park, a forest trail leads most of the way to the summit. Keep an eye out where to turn off right at the fire break at R66022 75422 A as it could be missed if you are in conversation! A steep ascent at the top brings you to a boardwalk which can be followed along to the summit. This mountain has two equal high points so if you would like to take in both you must leave the comfort of the boardwalk and cross 200 meters of bog and then back again. Retrace your steps to the car park. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/390/comment/20096/
