Two tops of same height, the second at R651755. This is the highest point in Co. Clare.   Moylussa is the third highest mountain in the Shannon area and the 466th highest in Ireland. Moylussa is the highest point in county Clare.

Moylussa /Slieve Bearnagh is my "local walk & can also be accessed amongst other places from Kilbane & from behind Broadford village. Follow walter_hollick's directions but stop & enjoy the view after climbing over the gate ...lough Derg stretches away below to Killaloe. Veer left along the very boggy path ( loose word there !!! ) to Cragnamurragh. Where there is a nice place just below the triangulation point for a cuppa ....
