just got "broad band" and low and behold i can now get the newsletter, before it just came up blank!
two thoughts on two rock which i have gone up almost every Monday for many years. firstly the challenge, it is as challenging as we want to make it. get a stopwatch and get up as quick as you can, then next time try to get up quicker! take a different rout down at an easy pace . set your own challenges.
secondly, i often think the people who climb 2 rock split into three categories, those who knock down the cairn(the mound of stones ) at the top, i.e. scatter the stones, sometimes putting a lot of effort into the destruction. those who never think about building or knocking the mound, and those who always replace knocked stones and rocks. the cairn will only be there as long as the three groups are in balance. so maybe we can monitor something profound about ourselves from viewing the "fairy castle". it can be viewed from a lot of Dublin Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/382/comment/2880/
