Well out of the way!
by TommyV  2 Nov 2018
From the North of the mountain there is room to squeeze one car in at W15274 62040 starB. There is a farm track across the road running South to Lough na MBreac Dearg, which is the highlight of this hike. After the lake the terrain becomes a bit more tussocky and heathery all the way to the unremarkable summit, which is marked by a few sticks. Please note the route we took was during an epic heatwave and I believe this may be very wet under normal Irish weather conditions so perhaps sticking a bit further left from the lake and handrail the fence might be wiser.
