Absolutely delighted to have finally got to the summit of Shehy More.

The views from the top are breathtaking and the walk to get there is relatively easy. Wet and boggy but not a hard climb at all. I think it took us about 2.15hrs to get from point A on the map to summit and return with lots of stops to take in the views.

You leave the car in a lay by at the road head up the track, it splits at one stage and you head to the left, through and over a couple of gates and you reach the lake. We then headed as recommended around the east of the lake and up to the top.
