As the other contributors say the 'path' between PWS and Knocknagun is certainly boggy. If you keep a few yards to either side of it you'll make life easier for yourself. The picture shows the Tor near the summit. The summit itself is nondescript and unmarked. [Editor's Note: the environmental advice is to stay in the middle of an eroded path if you can, or failing that move several metres to the side.)
