This has to be possibly my favourite hike in Ireland. From Delphi Adventure Centre, follow the R335 North for about 2.5km. Turn left at the southern tip of Doo Lough at L84552 67113 A. From here it's a steep ascent North West to Ben Lugmore West Top. The hard work is rewarded with a phenomenal ridge walk to Ben Lugmore then over to Ben Bury. From here it's a small drop down South West to a col connecting Ben Bury and Mwleerea. One final ascent will bring you to the highest point in Connaught which surely deserves more to mark it's splendour than the small cairn at the top. The route home involves dropping down to Derreenanwinshin, before crossing some boggy ground to connect up with a forest track leading back to Delphi. This is one of my favourite hikes in Ireland.
