A Walk for all
by joekdp  2 Jun 2014
Easy walk, very boggy/wet in places, path is not always obvious, follow your nose. Great view over Dublin if approaching the summit from the north, apart from that featureless Dublin mountain landscape. For all levels of fitness and ages, enjoyable Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/303/comment/16091/

27th Sept.2003. Quite featureless in immediate area but nice views over Dublin Bay; could see distant outline of the Mournes. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/303/comment/683/

Grid Reference for summit.

Hi All,

I see the summit marker for Glendoo Mountain has changed from what current (past) comments call the summit (O1418 2043 starA starC), I was wondering if this was recently remeasured and thus the location changed? Cheers Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/303/comment/23511/

Yes, the position was changed after a new assessment of where the top is and a survey measurement.. However, following some comment there is a suggestion that the old top or somewhere near it was higher. Since the area is so flat the only way of resolving this is to survey the old top and one of these days we will do that. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/303/comment/23512/
