Although this peak is higher than either of its neighbours, Aghla More or Aghla Beg, it has always remained unnamed on Ordnance Survey maps. As it has never even been marked with a spot height on the 6 inch map, it seems likely that it was omitted because of a failure to realise that it was the highest peak in the group.
An Eachla Bheag (mullach theas) is the 279th highest place in Ireland. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/266/
