Took part in a nice walk in the Maamturks on Sunday 11.05.2008. Weather was beautifull although a bit warm for this effort. Parked one vehicle at L873 519 starA and then drove on to L892 495 starB (maumeen) where walk commenced. Walked towards St. patricks bed & well before swinging left up towards Binn Chaonaigh. Took a number of waypoints on route - L90083 50632 starC, and reached Binn Chaonaigh at 633metres, after a brief pause to admire the views we trecked on to L89525 52473 starD, and then up to Binn idir an da Log at 702metres. Great views again in brilliant sunshine, on to L88272 53688 starE, and L87517 53120 starF, before decending to the road again and a welcome change of gear at our vehicle. A tough walk lasting almost five hours including some short breaks to admire fantastic scenery. Well worth the effort. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/225/comment/3101/
