Uninhabited except a few sheep.

I did kayak to the island in 2014. There is a slipway facing the mainland. Lot's of ruined houses. Walking is decent as the island is flat but in places ground is uneven and overgrown, there are only some sheep paths. On the far end there is a wee lighthouse (or a signal station) and some interesting rock formations. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/2015/comment/19522/

The only building that is not a ruin.

Surprisingly Donegal islands have a very good mobile internet reception, sometimes better than in an office in Dublin. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/2015/comment/19524/
