Arriving into Fermoyle the road effectively ends in a hamlet of houses. We asked permission to park and walk which was very willingly given along with good advice as to the best track to open mountain while avoiding current sheep movement. We followed Simon's 2021 directions to reach the coll at ca. V 701 731 A. From there we followed a rudimentary, but obvious, track to the summit of Finnararagh staying close to cliff edge. Amazing 360 views on a blue sky day. We travelled out and back to Sallagh without issue; nice ridge and no exposure issues. There is a short section of boulder field which might be a little more challenging in poor visibility. We took a slightly different descent from Finnararagh taking advantage of more grassy, less steep ground.
