Given the ruggedness of the terrain and height of the mountain, a connection with (marsh-)mallows seems unlikely, and with elms even more so. The name is therefore somewhat puzzling.
An Leamhaigh Mhór is the second highest mountain in the Bluestack Mountains area and the 158th highest in Ireland. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/154/
