Winter evening climb!
by scottyplusone  5 Aug 2021
Slieve Mor was my first winter climb. I was recovering from broken ribs but a crisp dry day occurred and 'plus one' was looking for an adventure. Bored of the safe booster we packed up and headed off. We went from the pier side and it was a hard enough climb, no clear path, and my ribs felt it. We were slower than usual going up and I have never descended a mountain as quick. We honestly just made it back to the car as the dusk was coming in. I plan to re do it from the lost village side this year as my ribs have healed and the evenings are longer! Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/153/comment/23239/
