I first climbed this mountian in july this year with nick stevenson,we started at the deserted village at the left of the picture shown.around half way into our climb the mist came down and we reached the summit with no major dramas but also no wiew.our descent took us down the righthand side of the picture down what i thought to be fairly steep rocky descent.we arrived at the pub at the bottom 3 and 1/2 hrs after starting our ascent. I did the same route three days
later on my own and the weather was superb, the views from you start until finish our outstanding, and from the summit are breathtaking.this was only my second time walking any mountians other than slieve donard and have comlpeated 7 since.you will here from me again
and i will definitley be going up slievemore again. dave Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/153/comment/1365/
