Summary
for Keeragh Mountain (Keecragh Mountain):
Rugged, rock slab defended hill with great views.
Summary created by simon3

Keeragh or Keecragh dominates the area from Lauragh to Ardgroom. To reach it you need to be aware of the formidable series of slabs of flat rock, particularly on the northern side.
One way of reaching it is from Cash SC (V75525 57878) which is on or near to the Beara Way. Walk west from there and as you approach Keeragh, head upwards. Watch out for the slabs.
There is a stile for the Beara Way at around A (V72555 57489), however it was noted in 2024 that this does not appear to give access to the Beara Way. However access may be possible along the road SW of the stile.
Further research on access would be useful.
The views from the top include the northern side of the famous Cummeengeara Horseshoe, such as Tooth Mountain, Coomacloghane and the spur to Tooreennamna.
