Tievummera Highpoint is the highest mountain in the Sheefry Hills area and the 69th highest in Ireland.

This is the highest point on the long Tievummera part of the Sheefry scarp. Be aware that the bump with the trig pillar is slightly lower than this summit and is therefore not the VL/ Arderin.

The quickest route is from L87207 67521 starA. Ascend initially on the forest road and then make for the SE ridge of Tievummera Trig.

There are fine views from the top, including the huge cliff to the north of the scarp, towards Croagh Patrick, Twelve Bens, Maamturks, coastline etc. Linkback:
