Undistinguished highpoint of spectacular Sheefry scarp.
Short Summary created by simon3  3 Feb 2025
This is the highest point on the long Tievummera part of the Sheefry scarp. Be aware that the bump with the trig pillar to the east is slightly lower than this summit and is therefore not the VL/ Arderin. This was established in surveying in 2024.

The quickest route is from L87207 67521 starA. Ascend initially on the forest road and then make for the SE ridge of Tievummera Trig.

See track/5092

There are fine views from the top, including the huge cliff to the north of the scarp, towards Croagh Patrick, Twelve Bens, Maamturks, coastline etc. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1522/comment/24208/
