Picture: Summit with Reeks in distance.
You're very unlikely to do this Arderin Beg in isolation, it being so close to a couple of Arderins, and a second Arderin Beg. Probably best approach is via the Kerry Way, Peakeen, Peakeen West Top and Peakeen NW Top. There is parking for 2/3 cars at Gowlane School Ruin (V917 752). Proceed north along Kerry Way for about 1km, then turn directly west for another 800m up the steep, but quite doable eastern slope of Peakeen. Mostly rocks, grass and short heather underfoot. Proceed directly west from here across grassy/heathery col area for about 1.3km, up the West Top, about 80 metres ascent. It's only about 150m north to the North West Top and you'll barely notice the ascent. Similarly simple to reach the Far North West Top, which lies about 200m to the NE. A large boulder marks the highest point. Car to summit, about 2.5 hours. Amazing panoramas.

A thing of beauty
by Colin Murphy 4 Dec 2017
We were lucky to climb this summit on a glorious winter's day, with magical light and with a backdrop of the snow-capped Reeks. While the summit itself isn't anything to write home about, the surrounding panoramas are splendiferous! Don't go up here on in the mist - save it for a clear, blue-sky day.
