Not a footprint!

Done as the first summit in a round of 4, using as a route Onzy's track 3323.
From the base of the turbine T7 which is at the end of a track at G485 283 starA follow the fence east. When you reach a 3way junction, cross over and head somewhat south easterly across increasingly rough and peat hagged bog to gain the Knockalongy ridge. Then it's a GPS treasure hunt to decide on the unmarked summit.
I chose a little clump of rushes, as per photo. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1450/comment/23304/

Not Much of a Summit.
by sandman  28 Sep 2015
The summit of this mountain is flat and boggy and would not be worth a visit except for its location en-route to Knockalongy from Ladie's Brae .The picture which i have uploaded is adjacent on the ridge named on the OSI map as Knockachree at G5164327928 starB. For my access refer to Knockalongy S W Top. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1450/comment/18331/
