Little ascended top with fine views
Short Summary created by Colin Murphy  10 Aug 2020
One approach is to bag this via Bucán. Start from the Western Way at L836 612 starA C and began ascending in a SE direction over grassy, fairly gentle slopes that eventually become very steep. This approach which is from sea level requires an almost 600m ascent, so is quite tough, but very rewarding in terms of views. Bucán requires the best part of 2 hours to ascend, but from there Leenaun Far North top is a gentle stroll of about 1km to the SE, with an ascent of about 40m. The summit itself is a grassy mound topped by a small pile of rocks, but the views all around are stupendous. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1436/comment/18064/
