Part of a nice ridge walk.

This summit is more likely to be tackled as part of a loop walk rather than to be climbed on its own. The ground is grassy and easy-going, and it is quite easy to contour the peat hags to reach the nearby tops of Bucan and Leenaun Hill NW Top. Leenaun Hill stands a bit further, but the walk along the steep slopes is very pleasant, with fine views over the green valley that leads down to Leenaun and the end of Killary Harbour.
