An easy bag on the way to bigger things.
Short Summary created by Colin Murphy  12 Apr 2019
Usually bagged in conjunction with Scarr itself, this summit has some merit in its own right, thanks to having a well-defined summit area and great views down on to Glenmacnass waterfall. Park at the Glenmacnass car park. Proceed directly east up the steep bank across the road, gaining height quickly over a 500m distance. You should encounter a track of sorts at some point, which is quite mucky in parts (in April). Follow this east to the col between Scarr NW and Kanturk at O126 029 starA. The track then turns south and will take you directly to the summit, which is unmarked. 50 minutes from car to top. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1433/comment/18061/
