Visited this many times when Charles Haughey was Taoiseach. I was in the Naval Service at the time and a ship was usually stationed close to the island when Charlie was in situ. The callsign on the VHF radio for the island was "Tir Na Nog" Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1362/comment/18490/
