Forest track to the summit
Short Summary created by simon3, jackill  10 Jan 2015
Park at X10804 93545 A, in front of some council (waterworks I think) buildings. Room for 3-4 cars.
Enter the forestry access going west to X10262 93650 B , turn right up hill and then right again on a good forest road . Unusually this is lined for most of the way by beech trees. The highest point is on the road at approximately X11047 93986 C. It is possible to make a bee line through the trees from here to get back to the start point. Limited views from the summit due to forestry though it is possible to see Carronadavderg. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1340/comment/15584/
