Attempted to follow the same route as sandman. Parked at W5672272804 starA and proceeded up the access road to W5687272729 starB where we discovered a gate and sign indicating PRIVATE PROPERTY. Respected the landowner's wishes and returned to our car.

Browsing online maps, it appears that there is a road that goes directly to the top of Garravagh North Top. I initially tried to access this way, but found the way gated and signed as private property. I knocked on door of the cottage right at the gate, but nobody was home.

I ended up heading around to the West side of Garravagh along R618 where the flank of the mountain is completely forested. There were no 'private property' or 'no trespassing' signs, so I tossed my bicycle in the bushes and had myself a leisurely stroll to the top.

The top has been very recently clearcut and the land significantly disturbed as a result. I stood on the highest tree stump and called it a successful summit. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1334/comment/16071/

A Hill close to Ballincollig.

As this hill has been replanted you should visit the summit sooner than later. Ascent is via the gravel road at W5672272804 starA and access is not an issue as the forest and hill is part of the Blarney Castle Estate. Numerous parking spots are available on this track as you make your way to W5678972285 starC turning left and to follow a very faint trail to summit area.
