by Fergalh  14 May 2014
Drive east of Adamstown, at first cross roads S88179 27205 A turn right up rocky hard core road until you reach forest entrance S 87875 26086 B 26086 take care on this road, drive slowly. proceed up track (fallen trees are everywhere) take second turn left as the trees are more thinly spaced at back. At S8856926214 C poceed through trees to summit area which has many trees blown down. There are little or no views from top Trackback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1313/comment/16065/

Sharp Shooter
by paddyhillsbagger  10 Jun 2014
Followed Fergalh's route which led up to an overgrown rocky outcrop with plenty of fallen trees. Looking around for a suitable high-point proved tough in the difficult terrain and I eventually settled on a small pile of red cartridges on a mossy rock (just visible in right bottom corner of photo). Not being a GPS user I can't confirm the co-ordinates but anyone getting this far in the undergrowth has done well. Obviously the sharp shooter thinks so too!
