Road Almost To The Summit
Short Summary created by Aidy  30 Sep 2015
Turn off the public road at C 31795 06132 A on to what seems like a private road up to the masts on the summit. I had asked at a nearby farm and was assured it would be OK to use this road, although it did pass a house, and it may be advisable to check there too. At a tumbled down house just before a closed gate, there was plenty of room to park (C 32278 05508 B), and from there its was only 200 metres or so along the track to the unmarked summit. After crossing the gate you may be walking through cattle as I was. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1303/comment/15547/

Expansive Views Along The Foyle
by Aidy  30 Sep 2015
Easy little hill as I took the car up a road almost to the top, avoiding walking through farmland. I had been assured at a nearby farm that this would be OK. The summit is unmarked but close to the mast. Views were surprisingly expansive, particularly down on the River Foyle. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1303/comment/18337/
