This hill has no name on any map I've seen, but the nearest townland seems to be Lettershinna so Lettershinna Hill is as good a name as any.
Halfway along the road around the north flank of the hill (road alt. about 90m), there is a sort of lay-by on the right (at A (L83197 43862)) with a firm surface, large enough for a couple of cars to reverse into. I've used this a few times as a quiet spot for some dark-sky astrophotography facing north and west - the backdrops of Cashel Hill, the Twelve Bens and Maumturks are lovely.
One summer night as morning twilight was approaching, I hiked to the summit from the lay-by, with DSLR and heavy tripod over my shoulder and a couple of other photo accessories in my jacket pockets. It's a firm grassy walk with many rocky outcrops...I don't recall any bogginess. Only at one area near the top did I need to go a longer way around something, as both my hands weren't free for scrambling directly up the odd steeper bit. Shot a wonderful 360-degree panorama in twilight from the summit - the photo here is just a small excerpt of it. I didn't time my ascent or descent, but I reckon they each took around a quarter of an hour. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1301/comment/17576/

Picture: The hill is surrounded by lake-dotted terrain.
Parking available at at A (L83197 43862). Open hillside to the east - a gentle climb over rocky/grassy terrain. A mere 95m ascent will see you at the summit, which is marked by a cairn and presents tremendous views. At the time of writing the cairn is infested with some form of flying insect that swarm in vast numbers about humans, so be prepared. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1301/comment/20851/

Followed the advice of previous comments to bag this easy top. Stunning views all round from a rocky top with small cairn. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1301/comment/18592/

As paddyhillsbagger found, the Bens form a backdrop to the top of Lettershinna. This picture was taken during a generally mist covered period one May day. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1301/comment/20534/

A very easy summit, accessed from the road running West to East to the north of the top. Up and down in 20 minutes. Very good views to the Twelve Bens and Maum Turks. Also sea views towards Carna and Roundstone. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1301/comment/17568/
