Climbed Friday 4/4/2014, started at A (S78096 49262) enough room to park one care here. Followed old farm track for about 100mts to rusty gate on the left, there is a fallen tree here blocking path, got under tree and through gate followed the now faint track through two fields to a junction of stonewalls on the left, followed stonewall left uphill to obvious high ground there is a small communications mast here and trig is easily found the left from here among some low sized gorse bushes. This trig is not indicated on sheet 68. Nice views towards the Blackstairs from here. Total time taken from car to car 35mins and a distance of approx 2km with an elevation gain of 89mts.

Gorse grows!

Scaled in 2021 & the trig is becoming obscured by a chest high forest of gorse. Roughly South of the mast is a stonewall & even atop that the trig wasn't visible. Waded through the gorse & eventually found it. One for the list tickers! Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1251/comment/23190/
