A lonely monument.

This is the tower that gives this hill its name. On my visit the door to the tower was open and it was possible to climb all the way to the top on a slippery spiral stone staircase. Be aware however that there is no guardrail around the top and the ramparts of the tower are in poor condition. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1236/comment/20739/
