Bring wellies

Parked at B* and entered the forest, (B (S40812 75491) B) All nice underfoot. Followed Fergalh directions but found the mistake...it was a test.... wasn't it. Take the first turn to the LEFT not the right. Follow the path up to some sheds and turn right and follow a rough forest track uphill. When you reach the copse on the left, go over the fence and head uphill. When you see the Furze, head for it, TRIG point is easily found. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1212/comment/23278/

by Fergalh 23 Jan 2016
Take first right out of Durrow, drive to forest entrance (B (S40812 75491)). Park here and walk along forest trail take first right. Walk to top of hill at fence turn right along rough trail at top of hill around 600 metres cross into thicket and than into field to gorse and in the middle of gorse is the trig pillar.
