Thou shalt not pass
by thomas_g 28 May 2015
There is a rather new and large sign on the gate of the track that runs from the rent a cottage scheme that proclaims "Private Property, Trespassers will be Prosecuted".
I'm afraid Fergalh's route is no more. I didn't have time to try an alternate route this time. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1211/comment/18005/

No sign of trespassers sign
by mdoc1969 12 Dec 2015
No sign of trespassers sign. Owners of Connemara Country Cottages - from where you begin your trek to An Léim - were happy for me to park in their carpark. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1211/comment/18406/

Short climb

Followed Fergalh's route to the top with no warning signs. There was no-one to ask at holiday lets so don't know if access is a problem. Marvelous views over Maam Cross to Maumturks as long as you get over the boggy summit area. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1211/comment/18455/
