There is now a Collite barrier at the start of the track at the road at S6022530270 A and the place is pretty much litter free. There is parking for one car (two at a squeeze) at the barrier and it's a short walk up a gravel track to the summit, which isn't exactly obvious. When I visited there was a heap of gravel for road building which looked like the highest point, but I think the true high point is on exposed rock just under the tree cover.
