Any vehicle with a reasonable ground clearance can drive up to the summit which has a turning bay or park at the entrance CulnHau (S60225 30270) to a public gravel lane and as i did walk the short distance. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1198/comment/17503/

Picture: Sad sight in Co Kilkenny
Drive in Dump
by eamonoc 30 Oct 2014
What can be said about the sight that greeted my teenage daughter and I today in Co Kilkenny. Keen to introduce her to the delights of Mt Views and Hill walking, decided to try a few small hills in Kilkenny and Wexford. Wexford won out today, as I was saddened to see what was dumped on this hill. I am glad that we decided to drive up to the summit area/ Dump, had we walked I would have felt mad outraged and cheated by whoever decided to turn this Aesthetically challenged hill into a dump. No longer a drive in dump
by ciaranr 6 Sep 2020
There is now a Collite barrier at the start of the track at the road at CulnHau (S60225 30270) and the place is pretty much litter free. There is parking for one car (two at a squeeze) at the barrier and it's a short walk up a gravel track to the summit, which isn't exactly obvious. When I visited there was a heap of gravel for road building which looked like the highest point, but I think the true high point is on exposed rock just under the tree cover.
