On my walk along the Sli Gaeltacht Mhuscrai on 22/09/2024 I noticed the hill has been deforested . There appears to be a rough forest road giving access to the summit now.

It took us 42 minutes to reach the top of this summit, yet it is only about 760m from the road. Wet, boggy terrain and outcrops with a fine crop of dwarf furze.
The top isn't particularly exciting, being covered in heather. The view however is 360 degrees. Included in the photo is just what you can see to the NE and that encompasses (l to r) An Cnoc Riabach (part of the Mullaghanattin Circuit), Stumpa Duloigh in the mist, Knocklomena, Bascadh, Cnoc na gCapall, Boughil.
