Many routes to the summit
Short Summary created by jackill,  31 Jan 2015
Follow the Ballyragget road from Durrow and then take the first right after factory and proceed to the village of Lisdowney. At the village take second right uphill to a crossroads. At the crossroads turn right and just after forest entrance, where you can park, there is a lane (S38992 70915 A ). Cross three gates and follow the track to a gate to large field. Cross field and veer right to where the wooden electricity poles go up hill, cross the fence here and follow a rough track up through a forest ride. At the end of the ride is a forestry track. Turn right and follow it to its end going uphill to the left through new planting to reach the summit. It is also possible( but a longer walk) to use the access road to a telecom mast to get to the summit. This starts at S38719 72172 B, however parking at the start could cause issues as it is on a narrow country lane. Trackback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1126/comment/15370/
