Friendly Cork Farmer, nice hill.
by eamonoc  16 May 2015
Had a chat with a friendly farmer who was also an avid hillwalker, advised me that I could park at W38047 94657 starA
at a gated entrance to an overgrown forest track. Followed this track to W38348 94571 starB turned steeply uphill to the right on another muddy track to W38227 94330 starC, turned right here and followed this track to the summit area, at high point on this track turned left over some rough ground to a stony mound in a clear felled area with views west towards Mt Hillary and the Bweengs. This area has been replanted so views westwards could be limited in the future.
Total distance from car to car was approx 3km with 174mts ascent. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1118/comment/17987/
