The name "Maum" appears on the 6" map and on the Discovery map. However, according to logainm.ie, the name belongs to a pass situated to the west of this peak on the southern slopes of Slievetooey, and this seems to be a more appropriate place to be so named.
An Mám is the 1101th highest place in Ireland. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1115/
