Knocknagallaun commands a great position overlooking, Ballydonegan Bay to the south and Coulagh Bay to the north.
I parked at C'keen (V59207 48517), plenty of room here for a few cars. Crossed the road to lower reaches of the hill, access to open hillside here, followed the obvious ridge to the top, a bit of meandering in and around small rocky obstacles present no problems when climbed from this direction. Fantastic views to be had in all directions, save for a nice clear day. It is a 4km round trip with an ascent of over 300m to the top and back. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1078/comment/20911/
