Cupidstown Hill is the highest point in Co. Kildare. However, it is on the fringes of the Dublin Mountains and is dwarfed by other nearby hills such as Seefingan and Kippure, both on the Dublin/Wicklow county boundary. It is therefore less well known than certain lesser heights in Co. Kildare, such as Dunmurry Hill (231m) and the Hill of Allen (202m), which dominate their surroundings to a greater extent. Cupidstown and Cupidstownhill are names of townlands in the parish of Kilteel.   Cupidstown Hill is the 1005th highest place in Ireland. Cupidstown Hill is the most westerly summit in the Dublin area. Cupidstown Hill is the highest point in county Kildare.

by wild_brian  2 Nov 2016
climbled solely for the reason of it being a county high point. actually walked to it cos there is no climbing or much altitude gained in this walk. as said its a 10 min door to door from the car. nice stroll tru the forest be it very short. fantasic views across kilteel. trig pillaer visible behind the fenced off mast.
signs of a burned car at the entrance which so many have stated before. cctv signs obviouslu not a deterrant for the car thieves. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/1051/comment/18694/
