"Yes Folks" on the 6/10/12 when i climbed Knockaphuca hill my log analysis on the website reads - The total number of mountain areas listed is 60 of which there are 0 areas you haven't recorded any ascents and climbed all of 27.Yes no more bright blue.
The hill can be reached by parking in an old quarry at Qry (V81659 30356) exiting the quarry turn left for app 100 meters and turn right at A (V81603 30458) heading up the ridge for point B (V81893 30753) where you will find a very faint track marked with some white plastic and some stone markers which will lead you to the summit at C (V82370 30750) situated between a solared powered cross and a trig. The existing cross was erected and illuminated in December 2011 by the Goleen GAA club replacing a wooden cross which stood from 1950 to 1968. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1014/comment/14836/

Keep off the grass!

For a small mountain, the going can be decidedly tricky on the lower reaches.I started at D (V815 307) and made my way across the strips of rock outcrop to a narrow ravine that separates this ground from the mountain proper. In summer, the ravine has chest-high grass with pools of soft muck underneath and out of sight. The best approach is to keep on a bearing directly at the peak to pick up something of a land bridge across the ooze and follow the rock ribs up the side of the mountain, avoiding the deep grass where possible. Even allowing for the, at times hard going, a return trip should take no more than 1 hour. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1014/comment/17609/
